How do I know if my child qualifies for speech therapy services?
After contacting us, we will complete a short consultation and schedule your child for an evaluation. During the evaluation, we will assess your child’s speech and language skills and discuss with you a diagnosis if present and the treatment recommendations.

If qualified, how often and how long will my child need speech and language therapy?
The length of each therapy session and how long treatment will be is determined by collaborating with you on a treatment plan that fits best with your child. Most therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes in length and duration of therapy depends on your child’s progression of goals established and carry-over outside of therapy.

My child currently receives speech therapy at school. Can my child participate in speech therapy at Little Speech Studio too?
Absolutely! Your child can participate in private and school-based speech therapy services as private speech therapy focuses on a child’s needs to be successful in his/her community while school-based speech therapy services focus on a child’s needs associated with academic success.

Can I be present during my child’s therapy session?
Of course! We encourage all family participation during your child’s session, as long as your child is able to participate to make progress with his/her treatment plan. We encourage family education and coaching to promote achievement with carry-over once we leave your session for the day.
